Welcome to My Cloffice!

YAY! Welcome to the first of many room tours here! Incase you missed it, Drew and I moved to Bethany for the year (or just about- see this post) while he has another season on beach patrol and spends the fall applying and interviewing for PA schools (read more about that whole deal here!) We’ve been having a blast decorating room-by-room and this summer was such a fun season of collecting pieces one at a time, getting an idea of what we have space for, and setting goals for some bucket list furniture items.

I had to share the cloffice first because it feels absolutely perfect to me! I spend at least every morning in here, working on my computer, browsing sales or just hanging with millie! The pictures don’t show it, but Millie’s crate is in here too— all cozy with her Lilly Pulitzer fleece blankets, of course!

Growing up, I had a big closet in my bedroom with a window in it. In elementary school I had a beanbag in there and would come home from school and do all my spelling homework right in my closet! As I got older and more interested in fashion, my closet filled with clothes and, to me, became the most beautiful room in the house. As a teenager I would go in there and sit and look up at all my clothes hanging and think up outfits, make all my phone calls in there, everything! That closet was everything to me. It’s still such a peaceful place for me when I go home.

Well, my cloffice is like a grown-up version of my walk-in closet as a kid! It’s dreamy, with all my favorite pieces on full display on my dress rack, favorite shoes front and center in the closet, and it doubles as functional with the most gorgeous desk ever ever ever!! I went full force with the lucite desk and wow it was worth every penny. Drew’s also been using it to work on applications and school work- which I love!

I didn't intend on any accent colors besides pink and gold, but finding the ‘chill pill’ pillow was a sign from God himself- how fitting for my blogging chair to be medication themed ;) So with that, I added in teal through the area rug as well as the wall art, and continued the “medical” theme with the lucite pill tray from Furbish! Simplyyyy obsessed.

While the lighting isn’t perfect in this room, we fixed it up with this amazing lamp from CB2. I love it’s simplicity while also making a statement. And the mirror ball, a quirky, sweet, random gift from my dad! He was demolishing a building (he’s a general contractor) and found this brand new mirror ball in a closet. Brough it home for me as a present! So cute!

Every morning when I come downstairs, I come into the cloffice, sit at my desk, and think about what I want to wear that day. Am I dreaming? Is this a dream?! Grateful for a room to dream!
