Wedding update - Final fitting & a Delayed Peek at our Invites!

Dress secured! Finally finally finally! Our train rides up and back to Kleinfeld NYC have been some of the most fun days of my life- and so sweet that my mom and I got to share this experience just us two. Funny thing is, this last trip we actually drove up to Manhattan because the dress was too big and too heavy to bring onto the train! GAH! Thankfully my mother-in-law-to-be is very brave and willing to drive through the crazy city to make sure we got this dress home! After 3 fittings and some very drastic changes, I can say without a doubt this is the dress of my dreams and I cannot WAIT to wear it for a whole day. The hardest part is not being able to show Drew! Thank you to Sarah Nouri, and my dress fitter Lorenna Quinn who are miracle workers and dream makers! Lorenna, we adore you!

In other (very exciting) news, as of a few weeks ago, we assembled and mailed out our invites! It was quite the assembly line at the dining room table with all the different pieces, so much silk ribbon, and oh my goodness so. many. stamps.!! Drew, my mom and I worked for 2 days straight assembling our stationary and, like most other things in this process, I am simply obsessed! Thank you Emily, again, for all your hard work on our invitations - every project with you gets better than the last!

Saving the big reveal for when we get our professional photos, enjoy your sneak peak of the craziest (and probably only!) vintage stamp project i’ve ever worked on. Each one is linked to the Outer Banks in some way and I just love the intentionality of the details. Love love love. Can’t wait to show you what’s inside these envelopes!!

LOVE,

Jaime
