Rehearsal Dinner
Something i’d been SO looking forward to, our rehearsal night! We got ready at the wedding house and all drove over to the chapel. While some people opt to invite extended family to the rehearsal, our entire wedding was extended family, so we just kept it to our immediate families + the bridal party.
Per tradition, I brought my bow-bouquet from my bridal shower that morning. You can read more about that here! After so many showers being the one with tape and a plate making the bow-bouquet, it was so fun carrying my own. How “27 Dresses” does that make me sound? Haha.
After the rehearsal at the chapel, my in-laws threw us the sweetest rehearsal dinner in the upstairs event room of the Sanderling resort in Duck. The downstairs is very casual, but the upstairs event room was perfect and not too big for our small-ish party of 25. Everyone had dinner and my father-in-law had them bringing up different sodas from downstairs for me all night (my love language, basically!)
There was a tear-jerking slideshow of Drew and I, and the best speeches that I wish I had recorded. The best night-before I could’ve dreamt.
