Peg Patches
It’s a legitimate honor to be writing about these, because they have been such a saving grace in my feeding tube journey!
These babies right here are so soft and incredibly protective. I find all of mine on Etsy, so they’re custom made to your size preference. I order mine in 3” (a typical size is 2.5”) because I figure a little extra protection can’t hurt. Plus they’re so cute, why wouldn't you want them a little bigger?
How they work
How they work with peg tubes (they’re compatible with both G & GJ!) is they slide around your port, right against your skin, and then snap to stay closed. So easy!
Wearing one of these patches prevents any leakage from irritating your skin and, get this, PROTECTS YOUR CLOTHES FROM STAINING!

How long will they last?
I typically change my patch 2-3 times a day based on how much i’m leaking. They absorb well but I get to the point after 4-5 hours where I can tell it’s getting damp and I should switch it out for a fresh one.
Are they reusable?
YES! I toss mine in the laundry with my pjs / towels, wash on cold, and hang them or lay them flat to dry. If you don’t make the mistake of throwing them in the dryer, i’d say a patch could last you up to a year!

I think it’s safe to say i’ve tried them all, and it’s decided that these are the softest, most comfortable, reliable patches i’ve found.
Yes, they’re a tad pricey, but it’s worth the investment. These are a necessity.
