Ever since i’ve had my feeding tube(s), i’ve been ordering these little patches to help prevent skin breakdown from gastric drainage. They really, REALLY help me and i’ve always recommended to people that they should try them. Like, actually. And through the years I feel like i’ve tried them alllll. Since they’re always handmade, every company varies. In my experience some made the “hole” for around the stoma to be too small, which can hurt. Others are just too thin and not as absorbent. I really recommend ordering a few to try if you’ve never tried them before! I always wore them with my GJ and cecostomy tubes, and wear them with my G tube now. Because of damage to my J tube stoma I can’t wear anything around there, which i’ve heard is common with J tubes. BUT for G/GJ/cecostomy tubes PLEASE give these a try! They will save your clothes from gastric stains and make you so much more comfortable! Cheers!
