It’s! Really! Happening! After years of saying “I should” and months of concept planning, I am so excited to announce the launch of my brand new site, with a brand new name that’s taken on a life of it’s own- Relentlessly Sassy!

It sounds cliche to say, but I’m not even sure where to begin! If you’ve been around for awhile, you may remember back to my very first blog launch in 2016. I had just gotten sick and wanted a place to write about my life that wasn’t “in your face”. It was pitiful, but I was trying my hand at running a website and having so much fun! Fast forward to 2018, I switched platforms to something much more complex, and studied YouTube “how to" videos until I was able to stay afloat. For years, I picked and prodded at that site, knowing in the back of my mind that someday I would try for something bigger.

About two years ago, I launched @RelentlesslySassy on Instagram as a dumping ground for my daily medical updates, complaints, and celebrations. We call our little corner of the internet “sickstagram” haha, and it’s a game changer for people with chronic/degenerative diseases. The friendships I’ve made through that page are invaluable- and some of the best I’ve ever had in my life! No one understands a life like this unless you’ve lived it. Over the last few years i’ve grown my online community and it’s presented amazing opportunities (like working with Kate Farms, Aerie, & CaringBridge to name a few!)

While my medical Instagram page holds infinite value as somewhere I can document what’s going on with my body in a real and unfiltered way, my passions and skills have always been in shopping & styling! I’ve never “not known what to wear”, or been too stumped on how to spice up a room- and at the end of the day my mind is always flooded with color schemes and ideas of what can go with what. It brings me so much JOY, and we’ve always talked about how much sense it’d make to take my blogging in a fashion/lifestyle direction. But it felt SO scary!

This January (roughly 5 months ago), I listened to an Instagram Live Brighton Butler did on starting her fashion blogging journey, what’s changed in the last 10 years, and what life’s like for her now… and it’s like I sat up straighter and said to myself “What am I waiting for!?”

There’s no better way to describe what i’m doing than “chasing the dream”! After years of homemade websites, sneaking fashion and decor content onto medical blogs, and shoving my surplus amount of random designer decor knowledge onto my Mom, it’s finally happening! — But wouldn’t be without my best friend, my Mom, for listening to every step of this process and reminding me this is the job for me. As well as Drew’s infinite technological and emotional support (and so, so much more), my Dad, who listens and smiles but clearly doesn’t understand this concept, my in-laws for listening to my pitch, and the sweetest web designer ever, Taylor Nguyen.

Welcome to Relentlesslysassy.com! My brand new, fully custom, pride and joy, fashion/lifestyle/medical blog! Look around, visit the new shop page for any shopping details, and make sure to follow along on @relentlesslysassy and @relentlesslysassystyle for all the everyday sparkle (and frequent gastric leak…)

And ultimately, thank you to everyone who’s been following for years! Can’t wait to see where this goes next!
